Marine Tools is a free tool website. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the site and how it is used.
Data we collect
No personal data is collected directly by this site. All calculations run in your browser — no input data is transmitted to our servers.
Location data. The anchor watch alarm asks your browser for your GPS position. That position is used only to draw the plot and sound the alarm on your own device: it is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. Your anchor position, alarm settings and track are saved in your browser’s local storage so the page survives a reload, and you can clear them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser. No other page on this site requests your location.
We use third-party services that may collect data automatically:
- Google Analytics (if enabled): collects anonymous usage data. Data is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy.
- Google AdSense (if enabled): serves advertisements. You can opt out via adssettings.google.com.
